Nature of work
The Sales & Business Development Manager's role at A1 Sport will be to develop and implement the company's sales policy, at both retail and corporate levels. He will manage the team of sales representatives and agents, and monitor sales operations. Working closely with customers, he will analyze, monitor and coordinate sales results, and report to the Division Vice-President. He will also be responsible for the management and development of major Canadian and US accounts and international distributors.
Main duties
- Supervise and manage team of sales representatives and agents.
- Manage and develop sales programs in major accounts.
- Establish A1 Sport division sales strategies, policies and procedures.
- Develop relationships with key partners and customers.
- Negotiate sales contracts and agreement policies.
- Recruit, train and organize sales staff.
- Conduct market research.
- Participate in pricing and credit policies.
Tasks
- Identify potential business development opportunities.
- Establish competitive sales strategies adapted to changing and evolving market conditions, while maximizing profitability.
- Participate in buying and selling shows.
- Ensure customer satisfaction during and after service delivery.
- Handle complaints, if any
- Analyze sales reports.
- Develop and manage an international sales network for our private brands.
