General Manager

Linda Fortier has been using her exceptional interpersonal and team-building skills to manage the Association since 2002. With 20 years of experience in the communications field, she has helped ARISQ grow dramatically. Thanks to her ideas and strategies, the Association has exceeded its goals, offered members memorable experiences and become a driver of economic development. As a skilled communicator, she understands all aspects of Quebec’s sports industry and is able to propose innovative solutions for creating events that are both professional and enjoyable for all.

 

Mélissa Tremblay

Mélissa Tremblay

Project Manager – Events

Mélissa Tremblay is armed with a diploma in event management from Lasalle College and an incredible drive for successfully completing the projects that are assigned to her. She is a versatile worker and a creative thinker who uses strong listening and organizational skills to ensure that member needs are met and events run smoothly. Her goal is to contribute to ARISQ’s growth while preserving connections between representatives. Her strong family values are apparent through the warm and friendly attitude she brings into the workplace.

 

Maria Fiorino

With over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, ranging from production, to retail, as well as international market development, Maria conveys her passion for the industry to us. Also, her versatility allowed her to quickly evolve and adapt to new trends in communications. Multifaceted by nature, she perfectly complements the team.

Marc Grisé has been the Chairperson of the Board since August 2016 and an ARISQ member since 1994. His goal is to maximize the development of the Association, which he believes provides an essential service to sporting goods buyers and sales representatives interested in forging mutually beneficial business relationships. He aims to ensure that the Association’s growth is managed effectively and that it continues to be a professional and friendly organization, as intended by its founders. Having worked for several brands, Marc knows first-hand that ARISQ is very effective in fostering lasting relationships.

 

Patrick Faubert

Patrick has been a member of ARISQ since 1994. The association is close to his heart and he feels privileged to have seen it evolve over time. He has worked for Merrell, Louis Garneau, Volkl, Tecnica, among others. He currently represents the Kombi and KEEN companies. His career makes him a true ambassador, which motivates him to become more involved in the future decisions of the association.

 

Richard Talbot

Richard Talbot became an ARISQ member in 1992 and a member of the Board in 1998. As a representative of several brands, including Tilley, Joules and Naturmania, Richard is proud to defend the achievements of independent sales representatives. Today, he believes in the importance of sharing his knowledge and experiences with the next generation. He hopes to provide stability to the organization while ensuring it remains dynamic in the face of an ever-changing industry. Richard loves spending his free time outdoors, with camping and fly fishing being high on his priority list.

 

Eugène Bunys

As a member of ARISQ since 2011 and member of the Board since 2013, Eugène firmly believes in the importance of solidarity among sales representatives in Quebec’s sporting goods industry. In his view, ARISQ provides invaluable support to its members and helps ensure fairness within the profession. He hopes the Association will continue to progress by being proactive, involved and effectively positioned within the market. Eugène enjoys outdoor sports like cycling, skiing, golfing and fishing. He has worked for brands such as Elan, Cobra Golf and Footjoy.

 

Alexandre Cazes

Member of ARISQ since 2017 and member of the Board since 2019, Alexandre works as a sales representative in the bicycle industry. An important asset to the CA team, particularly for the AX Bike event, Alexandre is always there to get involved in the association's other events.

 

Karine Minville

Sales representative

As a member of the association since 2015 and a member of the Board since 2020, Karine wishes to invest herself more in the association that she considers essential to the Quebec sports industry. She wants to help meet the current and future challenges of the organization, continue to support its technological evolution while maintaining its basic foundation, namely to promote meetings between suppliers and buyers in a dynamic and professional environment. Among others, Karine has worked for Merrell and PUMA, a company she still represents to this day.

 

Alain Sisler

Member of ARISQ since 2011 and Board member since 2020, Alain has 15 years background in sales. He has been with A1 Imports since 2009 and at the head of A1 Sport since 2014. His degree in business administration with complementary training in management, retail, marketing and customer service along with his strong will and dedication allowed him to distinguish himself in the field of business development. On a personal note, he is passionate about sports and outdoors in general, but most specifically running, hockey, skiing and more recently, cycling.
